With a very brief history under their belts, newcomers to the Adelaide metal scene Greedy Bunch Of Parasites are a hard hitting, genre leaping three piece outfit, fully armed and hell bent on injecting new sounds into local events and beyond.

Forming as a Friday night social gathering in their initial days belting out their favourites covers and grooves, GxBxOxP quickly grew more serious in nature and the trio soon began pumping out original riffs to assemble their first swag of originals that resulted in the 2024 ‘Down And Out’ demo.

Not wanting to confine themselves into any one metal staple, GxBxOxP take cues from a swathe of influences such as Metallica, Slayer, DRI, Municipal Waste, Sepultura, Lamb of God, Parkway Drive and Iron Reagan and have thus far labelled themselves as groove crossover metal.

GBOP aren't afraid to break the mold in order to achieve their goals, in 2025 the group played 13 shows in 12 months, released a live EP and played shows across regional South Australia. 

2026 is looking to be just as incredible with the Smoke & Ruins Tour, which sees the group travel across the Eyre Penninsula with Ceduna band KNAW. 

GBOP are firm believers in the Regional Australian scene and will continue to grow and support regional heavy metal!
